Third Ward Development

Heart of Houston CDC is a proud recipient of a $3,100,000 grant and contract with the City of Houston & Midtown Redevelopment Authority which will construct eleven (11) single-family homes in and around the Third Ward area. These homes will cater to individuals within the low to moderate income bracket, below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI), adhering to all CHDO program requirements and will have a maximum sales price of $225,000 each. We are expected to begin construction of these homes by the beginning of August. Each home will consist of 3 bedroom and 2 to 2 ½ bathroom with 2 car garage, with up to 1,550 sq. ft. of living space.
